Job summary

Saint Luke’s Endocrinology clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team. The role focuses on patient flow, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, and assisting providers in a fast-paced specialty setting.

The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-location team, with flexibility in scheduling (Mon-Fri or 4-10s) to meet clinic needs.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
• Basic Life Support from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow and provide excellent customer service.
• Pre-visit plans, room patients and obtain vitals.
• Phlebotomy as needed; administer injections and coordinate vaccines.
• Assist providers with procedures; utilize EMR system to scan/download documents.
• Complete administrative tasks such as prior authorizations and RX refills.
• Conduct telephone screening and cover front office responsibilities as needed.
• Travel between Saint Luke’s Multispecialty clinic locations may be required.
