Qualifications

• CPR-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) required.
• Career ladder with MA levels MAI–MAIV depends on experience and organization.
• Credentialing must be through ARMA/AMT/CCMA/AAMA/NCCT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Room patients for intake and measure vital signs.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Process prescriptions, refills, prior authorizations, and data entry.
• Perform phlebotomy, administer immunizations, and conduct point-of-care tests.
• Review discharge instructions, provide education, and schedule follow-ups.
