Job summary

Aurora Medical Group's Endocrinology clinic in Franklin, WI is seeking a Medical Assistant to support care teams with clinical and administrative tasks while upholding patient safety and privacy.

Required: High School Diploma or GED; accredited MA diploma or 2 years MA experience. Phlebotomy skills are preferred. The role is 36 hours weekly, Mon-Thu 7:00am-4:30pm, Fridays off, with occasional travel to other local Endocrine clinics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Accredited medical assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience in past 5 years.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians and nurses to deliver coordinated care.
