We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have an accredited medical assistant diploma or 2 years of verifiable medical assistant experience within the past five years.

What You’ll Do

Schedule: Monday – Thursday from 7am- 4:30pm; Fridays off (36 hours weekly). No weekends No Holidays. Most training will be completed at St. Luke’s Endocrine clinic. Occasional travel to other Milwaukee Endocrine clinics required when provider is off.

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.

As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:

At the Endocrinology clinic at 9200 W Loomis Rd. in Franklin, our multidisciplinary team works together to deliver life-changing care for patients navigating complex hormonal and metabolic disorders. From managing advanced diabetes therapies and thyroid conditions to treating complex pituitary and adrenal disorders, every professional plays a critical role in the patient journey. Our PSRs anchor the clinic by managing patient access and coordination, while our clinical team of MAs, LPNs, and RNs collaborate closely to provide specialized clinical assessments, critical patient education, and comprehensive care plans. This is an exciting, fast-paced, collaborative environment that blends cutting-edge endocrine medicine with deeply compassionate, continuous patient relationships.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

• Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other team member, when available.
• Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case- by -case basis.
• Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills.
• Will be exposed to the following hazards on a frequent basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, blood and body fluids. Will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.
• Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
