Ascension is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Endocrinology department at St. Agnes Healthcare in Baltimore, MD. You will support clinicians with patient exams, take vitals, and prepare treatment areas in a busy outpatient setting.

Role involves documentation, order transcription, and clerical tasks to ensure smooth patient flow. Requires BLS within 30 days and a Medical Assistant credential; high school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience accepted.

Formación

• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
• Medical Assistant certification/credential required.

Responsabilidades

• Direct Patient Support: assist providers with patient examinations, measure vitals, and execute ordered treatments under supervision.
• Clinical & Administrative Flow: prepare treatment rooms, maintain a clean environment, and stock basic materials to ensure efficiency.
• Accurate Documentation: interview patients for medical history, chart information, and transcribe provider orders for labs, radiology, and medications.
• Office Management: handle clerical duties including answering calls and maintaining organized patient records.

Educación

High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
