Ascension Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant role in Baltimore, MD. You will support providers during examinations, measure vitals, and carry out ordered treatments under supervision, while maintaining clean treatment rooms and efficient supply chains.

You will gather patient histories, document accurately, and transcribe orders for labs, radiology, and medications, ensuring seamless clinic operations and patient care continuity.

Formación

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Medical Assistant certification required.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Licensure/certification can substitute for education or experience.

Responsabilidades

• Direct Patient Support: Assist providers with patient examinations, measure vital signs, and execute ordered treatments and procedures under supervision.
• Clinical & Administrative Flow: Prepare treatment rooms, maintain a clean environment, and manage basic materials ordering and stocking to ensure operational efficiency.
• Accurate Documentation: Interview patients for medical history, chart information, and transcribe provider orders for lab tests, radiology, and medications.
• Office Management: Handle clerical duties, including answering calls and maintaining organized patient records to support a seamless practice flow.
