Job summary

University of Miami seeks an assistant professor on the clinical educator track to provide direct outpatient and inpatient care for patients with Endocrine disorders at UHealth clinics, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and UHealth Towers. You will participate in teaching endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students.

This role emphasizes clinical excellence and medical education, with responsibilities spanning ambulatory care, inpatient services, and ongoing CME to meet licensure standards.

Qualifications

• MD degree and ACGME US Internal Medicine Internship and Residency Completed 3 year ACGME US Endocrinology Fellowship
• Board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology (or board eligible)
• Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
• DEA licensure
• ACLS and BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Providing direct outpatient and inpatient care to Endocrine patients at UHealth clinics and Jackson Memorial Hospital
• Attending ambulatory services (80%) and inpatient services with call (evenings, weekends/holidays) proportionate to peers
• Teaching endocrinology fellows, residents and medical students
