Job summary

University of Miami Health System is seeking an Endocrinologist to provide both outpatient and inpatient care at our facilities including Jackson Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate will engage in the training of Endocrinology fellows and oversee mid-level medical staff as well as nursing clinical staff.

Applicants must have an MD Degree, complete ACGME US Internal Medicine Internship and Residency, and a valid Florida Medical License. Current ACLS and BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• MD Degree and ACGME US Internal Medicine Internship and Residency required.
• 3-year ACGME US Endocrinology Fellowship completed.
• Valid American Board Certification needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient care to patients.
• Engage in training of Endocrinology fellows and residents.
• Oversee mid-level medical staff and nursing clinical staff.

Education

MD Degree and ACGME US Internal Medicine Internship and Residency

Completed 3-year ACGME US Endocrinology Fellowship

Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology (or board eligible)

Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply

Valid DEA licensure

Current ACLS and BLS certification
