Job summary

The University of Virginia School of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism seeks an Assistant Professor of Medicine on the Tenure-Ineligible Clinical Faculty Track to provide clinical care for diverse endocrine disorders. Care will be delivered primarily at UVA Endocrinology/Diabetes and outreach clinics, with a strong emphasis on education and scholarship.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent with board certification in Internal Medicine by start date.
• ABIM board-eligible/certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
• Experience in bone disorders prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for endocrine disorders across bone, diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, gonadal and pituitary systems.
• Contribute to medical education of students and residents.
• Engage in scholarship and quality improvement activities.
