Job summary

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine on the Clinical Educator Track. The role includes direct outpatient and inpatient care, supervision of trainees, and active participation in medical education.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology (or board eligible).
• Florida license or eligible to apply (license prior to credentialing).
• DEA licensure must be valid.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient and inpatient care to adult patients with endocrine diseases.
• Supervise and precept trainees in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Participate in education and training of medical students, residents and fellows.
