Job summary

Cottage Medical Group in Goleta is hiring a Clinical Concierge (Medical Assistant) for the Endocrinology clinic. The role involves registering patients, collecting payments, rooming, and assisting the provider and staff with care, discharge, and follow-up to maximize the patient experience.

Background includes an accredited Medical Assistant program (or 2 years of equivalent experience), BLS, and EMR familiarity (Epic preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of equivalent work experience.
• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers.
• Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty and medical terminology.
• Experience with electronic medical records, preferably Epic.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, collect payments, and room patients.
• Assist the provider and clinical staff with care and treatment.
• Discharge, follow-up with patients, and manage outpatient workflow.
