Job summary

The Sioux Falls VA Healthcare System seeks a Staff Endocrinologist to provide comprehensive care in general internal medicine and endocrinology, including outpatient, inpatient, and community living centers. You will work under the Specialty Medicine Service Line and privileges in endocrinology procedures.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from LCME/COCA-accredited school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for Endocrinology patients in outpatient, inpatient, and community living center settings.
• Collaborate with Diabetic Education staff to support patient education.
• Complete documentation and coding of visits accurately and timely.
• Conduct telemedicine visits for patients in outlying clinics.
• Attend staff meetings, participate in committees and process-improvement teams.
