Job summary

The University of Maryland School of Medicine invites applications for a clinician educator in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutrition. This position will primarily serve at the Midtown Campus, delivering outpatient endocrine care and inpatient consults to a diverse patient population, while actively educating medical students, residents, and fellows.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and may participate in community diabetes initiatives and clinical quality improvement

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent).
• Board eligibility/certification in Endocrinology (BE/BC).
• Experience in outpatient endocrinology and inpatient consultative care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient endocrinology services at Midtown Campus.
• Deliver inpatient consultative endocrinology care to diverse patient populations.
• Engage in medical student, resident, and endocrinology fellowship education.
