Baptist Health Medical Group in South Florida seeks an Oncologic Endocrinologist to join the Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute, a multidisciplinary endocrine oncology program with high national recognition.

The outpatient-focused role includes four clinic days and one FNA clinic day weekly, with no hospital-based call; collaboration with three endocrine surgeons and other specialists; ABIM Endocrinology board eligibility/certification and MD/DO required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with active/unrestricted medical license.
• ABIM board eligibility or certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow an endocrine oncology practice focused on thyroid cancer and adrenocortical carcinoma.
• Perform thyroid and cervical lymph node FNA biopsies in outpatient clinic.
• Collaborate with a high-volume endocrine surgery program and other oncologic specialists.
• Provide outpatient care with four clinic days and one dedicated FNA clinic day weekly; no routine hospital calls.
• Assist in expanding the endocrine oncology program and manage advanced thyroid cancer patients on systemic therapies.
