Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group, part of Baptist Health South Florida, seeks a Breast Medical Oncologist to join the Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute in Miami, focusing on high‑volume breast cancer care within a leading integrated health system. Ideal candidates hold an MD/DO, ABIM board certification or eligibility, and a Hematology/Oncology fellowship with an active medical license.

Collaboration with surgical, radiation, genetics, and pathology teams is essential, along with involvement in

Qualifications

MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology (ACGME).
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Medical Oncology (ABIM).
Active/unrestricted medical license or eligibility by start date.

Responsibilities

Provide evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer patients using chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies.
Collaborate with Breast Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Genetics and other oncology specialists to develop individualized treatment plans.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives.
