Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) seeks an onco-endocrinologist to join the Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute in Miami. This outpatient role focuses on advanced thyroid cancer, nodular disease, and adrenocortical carcinoma, with collaboration across surgeons, medical oncologists, and radiology teams.

The position offers a four-day clinic schedule plus a dedicated FNA day, with no routine hospital call coverage, and potential growth in a high-volume endocrine oncology program.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution and active medical license or eligibility by start date.
• Board eligibility/certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (ABIM) is required.
• Completion of ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a dedicated endocrine oncology program focused on thyroid cancer and related conditions.
• Perform thyroid and cervical lymph node FNA biopsies in a dedicated outpatient clinic.
• Collaborate with a high-volume endocrine surgery program and other oncology specialists.
• Outpatient-focused schedule with four clinic days and one FNA clinic day weekly.
