Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for outpatient care teams. 100% FTE, day shift 8a–5p, Monday to Friday at Junction Road Medical Center, focusing on diabetes, thyroid and general endocrine disorders.

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary health team to provide high-quality care, perform comprehensive histories and exams, and participate in the Diabetes Management Service while enjoying a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure required.
Active DEA license or ability to apply prior to hire.
NP: Active RN and APRN certifications with prescriptive authority.
PA: Active PA license with prescriptive authority and board certification.

Responsibilities

Provide care primarily to patients with endocrine disorders in an outpatient setting.
Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical assessments.
Participate in the Diabetes Management Service daily functions.
