AdventHealth in Kissimmee, FL is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for endoscopy care under RN supervision. The role includes documenting patient records, planning care with endoscopist and anesthesia, obtaining informed consent, and delivering pre- and post-procedure guidance.

You will support the care team, ensure safety, and participate in room preparation and post-procedure duties. Candidates should have an LPN license, BLS, and LPN-IV; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical/Vocational School or Associate's degree required.
• LPN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• LPN-IV certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• LPN provides care to endoscopy patients under RN supervision.
• Completes medical records for key physiological, social, and psychological factors.
• Plans patient care using orders from the endoscopist, anesthesia, and RN input.
• Implements patient care and obtains informed consent.
• Carries out endoscopist’s and anesthesia’s orders; performs pre-procedure testing.
• Delivers phase II post-procedure care and discharge education under RN supervision.
• Assists directly with procedures and maintains procedure room supplies.
• Stocks, cleans, and transports patients and maintains room equipment.
