Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an RN Endo Lab for a full-time day shift. The role involves preop assessment, patient education, IV therapy, meds, and adherence to universal protocols within the OR.

You'll work with a dynamic team including surgeons and techs, participate in site verification, and respond to emergencies. A strong nursing background in OR/Endoscopy is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required or pending licensure in Texas.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• PALS required to be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• 2+ years hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and perioperative care.
• Prepare patient including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Respond to patient emergencies and deliver high-quality care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses and staff to optimize patient care.
