Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT support specialist in Charlotte, NC to deliver responsive end-user assistance and maintain client networks. The role involves troubleshooting LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi‑Fi, with a focus on incident resolution and client satisfaction.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to remediate complex issues and develop automation using PowerShell and Python, with onsite support as needed. Certifications like CCNA/Network+ are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience providing technical support to external clients in MSP or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi, and VPN technologies.
• Experience triaging, troubleshooting and resolving Windows/Microsoft 365 incidents.
• Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Meraki Dashboard.
• Certifications: CCNA, Network+; Cisco Meraki ECMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive end-user IT support to clients.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize client network environments.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to remediate challenges.
