Job summary

CBE Companies is seeking an experienced Manager, Desktop Services to lead desktop administration, endpoint technologies, and US-based IT support to deliver a secure and reliable user experience. The role oversees desktop administrators and help desk staff, while coordinating with global teams under a dotted-line model.

Based at the Cedar Falls corporate office, you will drive incident management, lifecycle planning, and continuous improvement initiatives across the end-user services stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in desktop support or related IT operations roles.
• 2 years of people management or team leadership experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and endpoint technologies.
• Experience with endpoint management tools and asset inventory systems; knowledge of software licensing.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Security+, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop desktop administrators and US-based help desk staff.
• Own the end-user technology stack, including OS, desktops, laptops, and VDIs.
• Oversee OS deployment, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Manage ticket assignment, prioritization, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on projects and rollouts.
• Develop SOPs, technical documentation, and knowledge base content.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and automation opportunities.
