Job summary

Base is America’s next-generation power company building a distributed network of batteries to transform the grid. We’re seeking a Creative Content Specialist who can independently take projects from rough brief through final delivery, shooting, editing, and producing content while partnering with marketing.

You will own video projects end-to-end, shoot and direct productions, and edit across paid and organic content for social, education, and product launches.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showing shot and edited work.
• 2–4 years of independent shoots and full project delivery.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro; After Effects/Photoshop a plus.
• Strong visual craft and storytelling sense.
• Ability to work from ambiguous briefs with minimal oversight.
• Comfort managing multiple projects and fast turnarounds.
• Hands-on, willing to shoot when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own video projects end-to-end, from concept to final delivery.
• Shoot and direct productions independently (product, homeowner, install, interview, social content).
• Edit paid and organic content for Meta, YouTube, and other channels.
• Turn briefs into strong creative, deciding what to shoot and how to tell the story.
• Collaborate with senior producer and marketing on larger campaigns.
• Work with Marketing to apply a performance mindset to paid creative.
• Handle production craft basics: lighting, audio, color, motion, finishing.
• Maintain organized footage and reusable assets for the content library.
