Job summary

Base is seeking a Creative Content Specialist in Austin to own video projects end to end, shooting, editing, and producing content for paid and organic channels. You will work directly with the creative and marketing teams to turn rough briefs into strong storytelling assets, balancing multiple projects with quick turnarounds and a hands-on approach.

You should have a portfolio showing both shooting and editing, 2–4 years of independent production experience, and strong Premiere Pro skills, with

Qualifications

• Portfolio or reel showing work you've shot and edited.
• 2–4 years of independent shoots from idea to final asset.
• Strong editing in Premiere Pro; After Effects/Photoshop a plus.
• Strong visual instincts and high craft standard.
• Understanding of paid and organic video effectiveness.
• Ability to work from an ambiguous brief with little oversight.
• Comfort balancing multiple projects and fast turnarounds.
• Willingness to be hands-on, sometimes on larger shoots.

Responsibilities

• Own video projects end to end from concept through delivery.
• Shoot and direct productions independently across various content types.
• Edit paid and organic content for multiple channels.
• Turn briefs into strong creative decisions and assets.
• Collaborate with senior producers and creative team on campaigns.
• Work with Marketing to infuse performance-minded concepts.
• Handle production craft: lighting, audio, color, motion, finishing.
• Maintain organized footage and reusable assets.
• Embrace AI and new tools to speed up production.
• Stay current with culture and emerging formats and adapt them to Base.
