Becton, Dickinson and Company in San Diego, CA seeks a Director, Operations & End-to-End Value Stream Leader for the Dispensing Platform. You will drive supply chain strategy, optimize the product value stream, and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve revenue and growth goals while controlling costs.

Lead design/implementation of end-to-end supply chain networks, align with BU and regional leaders, and advance manufacturing modernization with a focus on sustainability and risk management.

Formación

• BS/BA degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 10-15 years of experience in medical devices or life sciences.
• Demonstrated expertise in program, project, or operations management.
• Financial acumen; Finance experience a plus.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Travel up to two weeks in a typical month, three weeks in rare instances.
• Ability to engage with senior leaders and production staff.
• Clear communication of plans and priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Owns ISC operating model and end-to-end value stream; main escalation point in ISC for the Dispensing VP GM.
• Leads design and implementation of the product value stream to maximize value and meet objectives.
• Partners with BU Supply Chain, Platform Business Team and regional leaders on customer needs and GTM strategy.
• Establish KPIs, model demand, and co-develop a fit-for-purpose end-to-end supply chain network.
• Co-develop make-or-buy strategy, determine manufacturing technology and automation; define distribution and capacity.
• Recommend replenishment models with lead times and inventory strategy.
• Support design-for-manufacturing standards and ensure milestones and ISC objectives for launches.
• Drive sustainability and CO2 emission reductions per product line with global teams.
• Collaborate with plants to reduce lead time and improve end-to-end performance.
• Develop plant master plans and long-term capacity planning with cross-functional teams.
• Engage with multiple stakeholders and ensure alignment and escalation paths.
