Job summary

The Phoenix Group is seeking an experienced QA/Test Engineer to own end-to-end automation, building robust test coverage for core user and system workflows. You’ll drive quality across the sprint and collaborate with developers to strengthen test strategy.

You will stand up realistic test environments using Terraform, automate UI and API tests in TypeScript, and help ensure release readiness with clear documentation and risk signaling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/test engineering with automation framework experience.
• Experience automating UI and API tests, preferably in TypeScript.
• DevOps skills: Terraform, containers, Kubernetes and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Familiar with AWS or similar cloud platform.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate development and testing.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated test coverage for key user and system workflows.
• Stand up realistic simulated testing environments using Terraform.
• Validate new code each sprint and document defects clearly.
• Contribute to release readiness decisions before deployments.
• Provide weekly updates on quality goals and risks.
• Partner with developers on test strategy and coverage improvements.
