PhoenixTeam is seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to support cross-functional delivery teams. You will validate software quality across regulated environments, execute manual tests, document results, and drive defect resolution with developers and QA partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manual testing or software testing.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and lifecycle (SDLC/STLC).
• Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans.
• Experience using defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, and design documentation to understand expected system behavior.
• Develop and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
• Validate defect fixes and ensure issues are resolved prior to release.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure applications meet usability and business requirements.
• Maintain clear documentation of testing activities, results, and defects.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
