Job summary

Maker's Pride in Illinois is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support end-to-end plant operations by executing a broad range of supply chain and production planning activities. This role coordinates the delivery of food products, packaging, and raw materials while managing inventory levels, aging, and material flow.

Qualifications

• Associate or undergraduate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and SAP.
• Effective communication with customers, vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Schedules production based on forecast with SCM Scheduler to lock in the system.
• Meet customer service targets per contract percentage.
• Orders materials for production and manages weekly purchase orders.
• Manages inventory from PO through aging/usage/disposition.
• Sets up part numbers, BOMs, routing, and aging in the ERP system.
• Optimizes PO and reduces inventory to lower working capital.
• Coordinates outbound shipping of finished goods and residuals.
• Maintains data and reports for Supply Chain and Production.
• Manages changes in materials and residual inventory disposition with customers.
