Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC in Carol Stream, Illinois, is seeking a qualified supply chain professional to assist the Supply Chain Services function by developing and implementing project management tools focused on materials management, inventory control and new project setup for all customers at the facility.

Responsibilities include directing team activities, managing BOMs, coordinating with customers and vendors, monitoring inventory KPIs, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• 2+ years supervising employees in a related function.
• Food Industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns new item purchases to Supply Chain Specialists and ensures MRP setup for new items.
• Responsible for BOM creation/completion, routing instructions and master data documents.
• In PICK System: prints initial Production Shop Orders for startup review; in SAP, confirms startup review.
• Organizes and notifies participants of new project start-up meetings and communicates expectations.
• Direct contact to customer’s Materials Manager and coordinates change in materials in system.
• Monitors material shortage reporting and works with team on inbound delivery validation.
