Job summary

People Capital Executive Search seeks a Director of Supply Chain to lead purchasing, planning, inventory, and warehouse operations. You will translate forecasts and orders into executable production plans, balancing enterprise tradeoffs to move product to customers on time.

You will guide managers, optimize service levels, and drive cost efficiency while building a scalable governance framework across sites. A strategic, cross-functional leader with strong execution is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years' minimum work experience in a similar production/operations leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Availability to work off hours when needed.
• Strong computer skills, especially Excel.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Sound decision-making and time management.
• Effective communication at executive and cross-functional levels.
• Well organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop successors and build leadership depth.

Responsibilities

• Own supply chain results, purchasing, planning, inventory, and warehouse operations.
• Maintain OTF of 95% or greater.
• Manage inventory turns and inventory dollars and align service, capacity, labor, and working capital.
• Oversee the supply chain team through managers and supervisors to ensure efficiency and accountability.
• Coordinate and develop production schedules based on forecast and orders.
• Form action plans to meet production goals.
• Analyze inventory levels and adjust production accordingly.
• Build scalable operating systems, governance, and discipline across teams, sites, and businesses.
• Forecast and manage stock levels and partner with Sales on stock agreements to ensure OTF.
• Develop managers who independently own outcomes and strengthen the leadership bench.
• Identify opportunities to streamline procedures and improve customer service.
• Direct movement, storage, and processing of inventory; conduct auditing and cycle counting.
