Job summary

FanThreeSixty, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer III to lead end-to-end delivery of a substantial product area. You will turn ambiguous problems into actionable plans, design and maintain code across the stack, and mentor junior engineers.

You’ll own features in production, participate in on-call rotations, and help shape architecture to improve velocity. The role emphasizes deep collaboration with product owners, robust testing, and strong DevOps practices, including CI/CD and observability.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software development/engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/SE or related field.
• Strong system design, data structures, and modern development practices.
• Hands-on with Java, Python, React; familiar with Playwright, Vitest, JUnit, VSCode/IntelliJ.
• Experience building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs with caching and fault tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery for a significant slice of FanThreeSixty's product surface, including bugs, enhancements, and new features.
• Transform ambiguous problems into actionable plans and drive end-to-end execution.
• Design, build, and maintain code and data across the stack with cross-system awareness.
• Turn product requirements into technical specs with product owners on requirements and proofs of concept.
• Plan projects, set milestones, delegate work, and manage resources to hit deadlines.
• Write tests and documentation for changes and call out gaps in coverage.
• Review peers’ code and participate in architecture discussions with real influence.
• Diagnose complex bugs, fix root causes, and mentor less senior engineers.
• Own features in production, participate in on-call rotation, and handle incident response.
• Identify and address technical debt and architecture that limit velocity.
