Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, investor claims, foreclosure, loss mitigation, or related mortgage operations.
• Strong understanding of investor claim requirements, allowable/non-allowable expenses, documentation, and timelines.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet productivity targets.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Process and review investor claims in accordance with FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac guidelines.
• Perform end-to-end processing of FHA / CWCOT Claims, VA Claims, and GSE/LMPC/Modification or Supplemental Claims.
• Review loan-level documentation, servicing history, foreclosure records, expenses, and payment history for eligibility.
• Calculate claim amounts, allowable expenses, debits/credits, interest, and other components.
• Validate claim data and supporting documentation before submission.
• Research and resolve denials, adjustments, exceptions, and discrepancies; assist with appeals/reconsiderations.
• Coordinate with Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Property Preservation, Loss Mitigation, Accounting, and Servicing Operations.
• Maintain claim records, audit trails, and monitor aging, denials, recoveries, and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with investor guidelines, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
