Job summary

Delmar Nord is seeking an ML Engineer to own projects from idea to production, building data, training models, evaluating them, and keeping systems running. You will work on ML and LLM projects that support decision-making across the business.

You will deploy pipelines on GPU infrastructure, measure quality, and collaborate with engineers and researchers to ship reliable, scalable models. This role requires strong Python and production-grade coding skills.

Qualifications

• Experience building ML systems end to end from training to production.
• Track record shipping production ML models and defining success metrics.
• Strong Python and production-grade coding practices.
• Experience with large, imperfect datasets and distributed data tools.

Responsibilities

• Own ML systems end to end, from problem scoping to deployment and monitoring.
• Build production LLM pipelines that process large volumes of text into structured data.
• Train and fine-tune models, including open-source LLMs where appropriate.
• Deploy models on in-house GPU infrastructure with attention to throughput and cost.
• Measure model quality and establish evaluation methods when no ground truth exists.
• Design robust data pipelines over large, messy datasets with historical accuracy in mind.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to ship measurable impact.
