Job summary

Amazon is building a team to own end-to-end material operations for their next-generation material handling systems. The role focuses on forecasting demand, coordinating inventory visibility, and delivering materials to field sites across multiple installation programs.

You will design the tech ecosystem that ties procurement, sequencing, and site staging together and drive AI-enabled improvements. The position emphasizes collaboration with Supply Chain, Procurement, and IT to align vendor

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain management, planning, sourcing or program management.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects concurrently across sites.
• Experience with inventory management systems (WMS/ERP).

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end material sequencing strategy aligned to BOMs and installation schedules.
• Coordinate vendor lead times, transportation plans, and delivery schedules with milestones.
• Own inventory visibility across centers and field sites with real-time stock tracking.
• Evaluate and implement inventory/planning systems; define business requirements and onboarding.
• Design the material operations tech stack, including asset tracking and system interoperability.
• Manage material flow from centers to sites, including kitting and staging logistics.
• Develop standard work for receiving, cycle counts, and material accountability.
• Drive improvements with analytics, AI forecasting, dashboards, and post-deployment reviews.
