Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to lead capital projects from justification through installation and start-up. You will own scope, budget, schedule, and equipment selection while coordinating vendors and internal teams on the production floor.

You will drive safety, quality, throughput and cost improvements across multiple lines. You will work daily with production, maintenance, quality, purchasing, planning and other engineering functions to deliver measurable cost

Qualifications

• 2+ years in project engineering or project management.
• BS in engineering or engineering technology or BS in business/project management; or 5+ years capital projects in manufacturing (alternative)

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects for new equipment, assembly systems and processes from concept to start-up.
• Define scope, scale, and manage change as the project develops.
• Build and own the project budget; submit capital requests and track spend.
• Create and manage the project schedule across multiple projects.
• Specify equipment needs and manage vendors and outside contractors.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance to bring equipment to spec.
• Develop process instructions and train operators on new equipment.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, and cycle time.
