Job summary

CFS is seeking a Fixed Assets Manager in the United States (Galveston area) to own the full lifecycle of fixed assets. You will manage capitalization, depreciation, and subledger maintenance while partnering with Controllers and Operations to drive asset optimization and internal controls.

The role requires 5+ years in fixed assets and inventory accounting, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and CMIC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with fixed assets and inventory accounting.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations, asset tagging, and close processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, and subledger maintenance.
• Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes.
• Perform monthly close activities including reconciliations, rollforwards, and variance analysis.
• Monitor equipment usage, allocations, and capitalization vs. expense decisions.
• Support audits and maintain compliant internal controls and documentation.
• Partner with operations to optimize asset utilization and working capital.
