Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Material Supply Chain Manager to lead connectivity and fiber material sourcing across regions.

You will own the category strategy, manage supplier relationships, and drive from negotiation to technical qualification, ensuring build schedules stay on track. You will navigate complex cross-functional partners including legal, finance, and engineering, and steer initiatives to reduce costs while improving resilience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or vendor management.
• Experience building demand forecasts and supply plans to support deployment schedules.
• Experience originating and negotiating supply agreements and managing supplier performance.
• Experience defining and executing a category or sourcing strategy across multiple teams or geographies.
• Experience with dual sourcing and supply risk mitigation across global suppliers.
• Experience writing narratives and presenting strategy to senior managers/directors.
• Experience working with legal/finance on contract terms with engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Own supply chain strategy for a defined connectivity and fiber material category.
• Build demand forecasts and supply plans to keep programs on schedule.
• Origin and negotiate new contract structures and terms; manage supplier performance.
• Lead supplier qualification with engineering; assess contract guardrails independently.
• Drive cost reduction and dual sourcing initiatives; mentor teammates.
