Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the SDS Division within DS CIDO. The role leads end-to-end software procurement, renewals, and reporting in a FAR/DFARS framework, partnering with program engineering, IT, and functional stakeholders to ensure compliant, cost-effective acquisitions.
Required are 8+ years in Purchasing/Subcontracts, DoD-credible experience, and strong analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in Purchasing/Subcontracts/Contracts.
- Willing to obtain DoD security clearance.
- Experience with FAR/DFARS and public law requirements.
- MRP/ERP experience with SAP, Costpoint, or Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills with pricing, spend, supplier performance, and BOM/MP data.
Responsibilities
- Lead procurement and subcontracting actions in a FAR/DFARS environment.
- Oversee BOM and MP Request lifecycle from quote to PO.
- Analyze spend, lead times, and supplier performance for cost reductions.
- Own lifecycle tracking for software purchases, renewals, and costs.
- Lead renewals and quote refresh coordination to align with budgets.
- Develop and present recurring procurement metrics for senior stakeholders.
- Mentor team members on software purchasing and reporting.
