The role drives cost-effective flow of materials, develops performance metrics, collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to meet project goals, and supports sensitive DoD operations requiring TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in progressive procurement or sourcing in supply chain operations.
• Experience with DoD contracting and FAR/DFAR regulations.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI clearance within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for ordering, tracking, receiving, storing, inventory management, and issuance of materials for the project
• Identify supplier network and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Partner with operations to optimize supplier network utilization and support project goals
• Implement supply chain strategies for cost-effective flow of materials to site and installation
• Drive continuous supplier process and performance improvement in procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing strategies
• Monitor supplier performance for quality and delivery; qualify new suppliers with other departments
• Develop performance metrics to drive initiatives and meet schedule goals
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR regulations
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to drive best practices and continuous improvements
• Lead solutions to internal processes and optimize order-to-delivery
• Coordinate delivery through customs and to the military customer; manage high-value tools onsite
