Job summary

The Bachrach Group in New York, NY is seeking an Annuities Operations Coordinator to manage the end-to-end annuity new business process from submission to issuance. This role involves reviewing applications, processing, updating records, and issuing individual annuity new business with carrier clients.

You will communicate with insurance agents by phone and email to obtain outstanding requirements and provide status updates.

Qualifications

3-5+ years previous customer service experience
1+ years annuities experience
Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to interact and work closely with business stakeholders at all levels of seniority
Possess strong analytical thinking and critical reasoning skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to effectively handle a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Ability to work in EST hours and flex as needed based on business demand

Responsibilities

Verify annuity new business applications, submissions, and forms for completeness.
Learn regulations and guidelines to assess applications for compliance.
Enter new applications into company systems.
Review, apply funds, and issue annuity new business via workflows.
Communicate with insurance agents to obtain outstanding requirements and provide status updates.
Resolve new business-related issues as requirements are met.
Communicate with internal stakeholders on new business items.
Perform other duties as assigned
