Altius Talent | Freight Forwarding Recruitment is seeking an experienced freight forwarder in Houston to manage air and ocean shipments from booking to delivery. This end-to-end role involves preparing documentation and coordinating with customers and overseas agents to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience handling import/export shipments, a solid grasp of Incoterms, and the ability to keep accurate files and inform customers throughout the shipment

Qualifikationen

• Two years of freight forwarding experience across air and ocean.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation and customs clearance processes.
• Experience managing shipment files and communicating directly with customers and service providers.
• Ability to prioritize live shipments and produce accurate documentation under deadline.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate air and ocean import and export shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Prepare master and house bills of lading, air waybills, commercial invoices and certificates of origin.
• Handle ISF and AMS filings, carrier and co-loader bookings, and customs clearance coordination.
• Track shipments, identify service exceptions and keep customers and overseas agents informed.
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation and follow through on outstanding delivery requirements.
