Impruve is a boutique forward-deployed engineering firm that partners with wealth-management clients to deploy AI-powered production data pipelines and compliance infrastructure from Chicago. You’ll own engagements end-to-end, balancing client needs with pragmatic engineering decisions, and you’ll shape how we build and deliver complex AI-enabled systems.

You’ll lead a small pod of engineers, stay hands-on with coding and architecture, and bridge conversations between clients and the engineering

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on engineering experience
• Experience managing engineers or leading a team
• Comfortable presenting to clients and translating tech to non-tech
• Fluency across data, infrastructure, backend, and AI
• AI-native mindset and willingness to experiment with AI tools
• Bias for outcomes tied to client impact

Responsabilités

• Own client engagements end-to-end, scoping work and ensuring delivery impacts the client
• Lead a small pod of engineers, set priorities and unblock work
• Stay hands-on by writing code, reviewing architecture and prototyping
• Bridge engineering and business by translating requirements and managing scope
• Work AI-native, refining agentic development workflows
