Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a dependable End Dump Truck Driver with a Class A CDL to join our team. You’ll safely transport aggregates and other materials, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs.

Expect local, home-daily routes with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service. Qualified candidates will have a clean driving record, knowledge of DOT regulations, and the ability to perform light truck maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Clean driving record and safety-focused mindset.
• Experience with end dump trucks preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Able to perform basic truck maintenance and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an end dump truck to transport materials to job sites and plants.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Load/unload materials using proper procedures to prevent spills.
• Maintain delivery logs and mileage records accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch, plant staff, and customers.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an end dump truck to transport aggregate, sand, gravel, and other materials to and from job sites and plants.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure your truck is in safe, working condition.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
• Load and unload materials using proper procedures to prevent spills and damage.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, plant staff, and customers.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation.
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of your truck to keep it in top shape.
• Adapt to changing schedules and routes as needed to meet customer and company needs.
• Provide excellent customer service on every delivery—your professionalism sets us apart.

What Sets You Apart

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
