Job summary

Hughes Brothers Construction, Inc. is seeking an End Dump Operator to support large site infrastructure, underground utilities, and roadway construction in Central Florida.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Basic understanding of construction principles.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Overtime and out-of-town travel may be required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• English and Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck equipped with a dump body to transport rock, asphalt or other materials to various parts of the jobsite.
• Follow project instructions from the construction manager or supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols when operating a variety of tools and heavy equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Perform daily truck equipment inspections and communicate any maintenance or necessary repairs to supervisor.
• Clean up the worksite when the project is complete.
• Perform job tasks in an outdoor setting which could include inclement weather, heat, humidity and exposure to dust and asphalt.
