Job summary

Hughes Brothers Construction, Inc. in Central Florida is seeking a Dump Truck Driver to safely transport materials to job sites and support large site infrastructure projects.

You will inspect vehicles, comply with federal, state and local regulations, and help ensure timely, accurate deliveries. We offer competitive pay, a robust benefits package including medical, dental and vision, 401(k) with employer match, generous PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must hold a clean CDL Class A license.
• Must have held a clean CDL license for at least 2 years.
• Flexible work schedule availability.
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport materials to and from job locations.
• Inspect truck for defects and ensure it is in a safe operating condition before, during and after trips.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and maneuvering in challenging conditions.
• Comply with all company policies and applicable regulations for safe operation of a CMV.
• Promptly report any accidents or incidents to supervisor and Safety department.

Dump Truck Driver

• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
• Promptly file written report of any accident or incident involving driver or company equipment to supervisor and Safety department.
