Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking a qualified professional to design and repair building enclosure systems for new construction, renovations, and restorations. The role involves reviewing enclosure assemblies, analyzing air infiltration, rain control, heat transfer, and vapor transmission, and integrating enclosure performance with mechanical, lighting, and plumbing systems.

Candidates should have a strong technical background in CADD and building performance modeling, plus excellent communication

Qualifications

• A degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering is required; master's preferred.
• 3–5 years in building restoration, enclosure issues, or forensic consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with a team of internal consultants.
• Prepare technical presentations for client meetings.
• Review enclosure details and specifications.
• Perform field investigations including water leakage and non-destructive testing.
• Develop high-performance enclosure details with architects and contractors.
• Prepare construction documents such as repair drawings and specifications.
• Observe construction and perform QA testing.
