Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking an enclosure specialist to design and repair building enclosure systems for new and existing projects in a hybrid work environment. You will review enclosure assemblies, evaluate air infiltration, rainwater control, heat transfer, and holistic integration with mechanical systems.

The role requires a technical background in CADD and performance modeling, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff on diverse restoration and envelope

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in building restoration, parking rehabilitation, renovation, enclosure issues, or forensic consulting required.
• Experience with CADD and building performance modeling software required.
• PE, RA, MSFE preferred (US)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with a team of internal consultants.
• Assist Senior Project Managers with project tasks.
• Perform project management duties and client meetings.
• Prepare technical presentations and proposals.
• Review enclosure details and specs prepared by others.
• Work with architects and contractors to develop high performance details.
• Perform field investigations and testing.
• Model enclosure assemblies using various software.
• Prepare construction documents and site visit reports.
• Interact with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors
