Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking a design professional to develop enclosure systems for new construction, renovations, and restorations. You will evaluate service life, air infiltration, rain control, heat transfer, and vapor transmission while integrating enclosure design with mechanical, lighting, and plumbing systems.

The role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication, and proficiency in CADD and building performance modeling software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years in building restoration, enclosure issues, or forensic consulting.
• Experience with CADD and building performance modeling software required.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with a team of internal consultants.
• Assist Senior Project Managers with project tasks and perform project management duties.
• Facilitate client meetings and prepare technical presentations.
• Prepare proposals for new project pursuits and review enclosure details by other consultants.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to develop high performance details.
• Conduct field investigations including water leakage and non-destructive testing.
• Model enclosure assemblies using different software and analyze repair/design options.
• Prepare repair drawings, construction documents, and site visit reports.
