Job summary

BPL Enclosure Engineering is seeking an Intermediate Enclosure Consultant for our Denver/Arvada, CO practice. The role involves applying scientific principles to develop enclosure solutions that prevent water intrusion, energy loss, and deterioration while supporting client needs.

You will review drawings, conduct site observations, and help prepare budgets and reports. A 5+ year background in design/construction and a related degree or diploma is required, with strong teamwork and communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/construction related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets and proposals for enclosure services on diverse projects.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Evaluate existing buildings to identify enclosure problems and design appropriate repairs.
• Prepare reports summarizing methodologies, observations, conclusions and recommendations.
• Attend design, pre-construction and construction meetings to provide technical input.
• Conduct field observations for compliance with contract documents and standards.
• Prepare field observation reports and perform diagnostic testing per ASTM and AAMA standards.
• Mentor and train other team members on technical issues.
• Occasionally travel outside the Denver metro area for projects.
