Job summary

Great HealthWorks, Inc. in Florida is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Assistant to support encapsulation operations in a GMP environment.

You will follow SOPs for Soft Gel and Encapsulation equipment, document batch records, and help maintain clean, safe work areas. The role requires reading and following written instructions, basic math, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow SOPs.
• Able to work in a GMP environment.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs relating to Soft Gel and Encapsulation equipment.
• Immediately bring any discrepancy to the attention of a supervisor, and obtain approval from the supervisor before operating the encapsulation equipment
• Spreads Soft Gels onto drying trays
• Moves stacks of drying trays to the appropriate drying rooms
• Fills out appropriate documentation on batch records, maintaining good documentation practices.
• Helps monitor the machine
• Assists with gelatin and material changeover operations
• Assists with performing In-process testing and checks throughout product runs and daily routines
• Assists in basic cleaning of machines and production rooms following major and minor changeovers
• Assist in getting clearances from QA on appropriate equipment and GMP rooms for processing
• Responsible for following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), 21 CFR Part 211, and 21 CFR Part 111
• Understanding of Equipment SOPs.
• Maintain neat and clean work areas
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Assist in the disassembly of non-critical component machine parts
• Assist with the assembly and installation of all non-critical component equipment parts.
• Assist with cleaning all non-critical component machine parts and equipment
• Other duties as assigned
