Job summary

Google is seeking an Enablement Manager in the Google Procurement Organization (GPO) to drive scalable programs and partner with cross-functional teams. You will enable velocity, efficiency, and security in Google's purchasing processes while aligning with broader business goals.

This role requires 7+ years in program management, strong leadership, excellent communication, and a track record of mentoring teams and implementing process improvements, including AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in project and program management.
  • Experience delivering programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience identifying manual tasks and implementing AI-driven solutions to reduce operational overhead.
  • Ability to establish standardized PM processes and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor performance and KPIs.
  • Strong leadership to mentor project managers and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and align programs and projects with GPO's strategic goals.
  • Support management of resources across projects and optimize allocation.
  • Identify and manage risks, resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.

  • Exceptional communication and skills for facilitating communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor project performance, track key metrics, and evaluate project outcomes against predefined goals.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and mentor project managers and teams effectively.

US: $136000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
  • Develop and align programs and projects with GPO's overall strategic goals, and ensure individual projects contribute to the broader objectives of GPO
  • Support management of resources across various projects and optimization of resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization and prioritization of tasks
  • Help identify and manage risks that may impact project delivery or program success, and work to resolve issues and mitigate risks promptly
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership, and ensure transparency while keeping stakeholders informed about project progress, risks, and changes
  • Monitor the performance of various programs and projects, tracking key metrics, and generate reports for leadership to make informed decisions; this includes evaluating project outcomes against predefined goals and KPIs.
